ATENoffers a new one on the market KVM Control Center CM1164 (USB / DVI-D) with USB 2.0 and audio hub, that provides multi-view console access to four or more computers from a single screen and sharing USB devices from a single console.

"To improve the operational efficiency of intensive monitoring applications, we need a quick and convenient way to view and manage multiple computers simultaneously, allowing instant response times from a single location", points out Marc Salimans, Sales Director of ATEN Infotech.

Therefore ideal for control rooms, monitoring systems, military and traffic control systems, weather centers, and other work environments, KVM Control Center offers three flexible display features: Quad-View, Picture in Picture and full screen.

With Picture in Picture (PIP), users can display two, three or four panes from a single monitor with a maximum resolution of 1920 × 1200 at 60Hz. It is also possible to select and control computers using the hardware cursor function and change the size and position of each video source. Drag-and-drop also provides an intuitive interaction that is easy to acquire.

To access the computers and change the display modes you can use the buttons on the front panels, the hotkeys, but also infrared remote controls or the console mouse.

There configuration of CM1164 happens in a simple way thanks to the OSD, which contains a wide range of functions (DCC, display mode, choice of ports, Channel Editor, and so on), which allows the user to access, control, configure and view the input sources.

The most demanding users can connect up to four CM1164 unitsand, through the Daisy Chain Control mode (DCC) with RS-232, up to three additional CM1164 devices can be connected and controlled.
