Spatial technology, one can well say. Zana Design launched Apophis, a 64 Gb USB stick made with ancient African wood, pure gold (or silver), a diamond and above all parts of a meteorite 4.5 billion years ago. A concerted mix of rare materials and desing that can be purchased spending $ 1,990 (for the version with a gold border) and just 1,130 for the one with a silver profile. The name Apophis was chosen in honor of the asteroid that touched the Earth in 2004 and will return to visit it in 2036, according to some at risk of hitting our planet. With its nearly $ 2,000 Apophis is not the most expensive pen drive in the world nor does it come close. The record goes to Magic Mushroom USB made by La Maison Shawish. It is a mushroom covered with diamonds and rubies. The most expensive version is the green one, in diamonds and emeralds that reaches just $ 36,000.
