Although the main instant messaging applications allow the use of its functions on any computer, Apple has decided to limit iMessage and make it available exclusively on iOS and MacOS. So, whoever owns an iPhone and a Windows computer, can't control the notifications that arrive on the phone through the computer. Fortunately, however, there are some ways to be able to activate iMessage on Windows PC or at least to check notifications when they arrive. If you don't know how to do it, then read on to find out the different procedures to follow.
How to activate iMessage on a Windows PC
If you are reading this guide because you have an iPhone and you want to activate iMessage also on your Windows PC. Although Apple has decided to make its messaging application available only on its operating systems, there are several options to still use iMessage on Windows. Let's go discover them together.
Activate iMessage on Windows PC with Google Chrome Remote Access
The easiest way to use iMessage on a Windows computer is to use an interesting extension for Google Chrome. This method, however, only works if you already have a Mac and want to use iMessage on a second Windows computer.
The extension in question is called Chrome Remote Desktop and an extension that allows you to easily connect two devices together.
Put simply, the extension allows you to remotely access another computer. In this way, therefore, you will be able to access a Mac computer and use iMessage for Mac also on a Windows computer.
Obviously, if you don't have a Mac this solution is practically useless.
Use iMessage on Windows PC via emulator
If you don't have a Mac, you can still use iMessage on your Windows PC by using an emulator we've already talked about and found in the next link. This is iPadian and can be downloaded for free from the official website.
To start the emulator you will need to install Adobe AIR. Without it, in fact, it will not be possible to run iPadian on your Mac. You can download the latest version of Adobe AIR directly from the official website by clicking on this address. I invite you to consult this other guide where you can find various solutions on how to emulate iOS on Windows PC , including, of course, even iPadian.
Use iMessage on Windows PC with Jailbreak on iPhone
If the two methods above do not satisfy you, you can use iMessage on a Windows PC by running the Jailbreak on iPhone / iPad.
In Cydia, in the BigBoss Repository, there is an app called "Remote Messages" at a cost of $ 4. This tweak allows you to remotely connect to the iPhone by installing a small one Web Server which, once enabled, allows full interaction with the iMessage application via browser Chrome is FireFox.
To access iMessage remotely, after installing the tweak, simply open the web browser and enter the IP address provided.
Read notifications iOS in Windows
Alternatively, you can still receive iMessage notifications by installing Pushbullet. This app that you can find for all mobile platforms (iOS, Android, Windows), allows you to connect different devices together and see real-time notifications you receive on your phone.
