An Italian app finalist at a prestigious UN award.
Is called Strillone / Paperboy and the app created by Informatici Senza Frontiere dedicated to the reading of newspapers and textual content for the visually impaired and the blind. Today the only Italian appfinalista in the 2014 WSU World Award of the ITU, United Nations telecommunications agency.
The idea appealed for its simplicity since Strillone exploits the most immediate thing that can have at its disposal a blind person who uses a touch screen of smartphones, tablet or desktop PC: the corners. Time until April 18 to support the Italian app and vote for it, by connecting to this link.
