It will also be comfortable to carry around, but for now the tablet would seem to be mostly a home instrument, perfect for enjoying a film sprawled on your sofa. To reveal a recent research conducted by Lenovo to launch the YOGA Tablet 2 Pro, an object specifically dedicated to home entertainment.
The survey reveals that more than 80% who owns a tablet uses it mainlywithin the home: 60% connect to the Internet from the living room and over half use it regularly to watch videos.
But not everything. The ideal moment for stuffing of TV series is played on the tablet, for 44% of the time in the evening. 56% of the time the tablet is shared by two or more people and this confirms that, unlike laptops, there is still no need to have one each.
Interestingly, the penetration of the tablet into everyday life has accelerated digital literacy for children: as many as 61% of three-year-olds in the UK use a tablet (perhaps to watch Peppa Pig), and the trend confirmed in other European countries as well.
