Nexus 9 arrives in Italy, the tablet produced by Google and HTC: it has an 8.9-inch screen and Android 5.0 Lollipop
Presented in mid-October by Google, the new Nexus 9 is the third product created in collaboration with HTC and the third tablet in the series. Monocoque body in non-slip polycarbonate, with aluminum edges and 8.9 inch IPS LCD TFT screen: the proportion 4: 3, the QXGA 2K resolution from 2048 x 1536, to 281ppi.
It measures 153.68 x 228.25 mm and 7.95 thick. It weighs 425 grams in Wi-Fi version and a little more (436) in version with Wi-Fi and LTE.
Nexus 9 aims to offer console performance for games: inside you will find the Nvidia Tegra K1 2.3 GHz dual-core processor with support for 64-bit architecture, 2 GB of RAM and Keppler DX11 graphics processor.
There 8 megapixel rear camera 35mm equivalent with f / 2.4 aperture and LED flash; the front one of 1.6 megapixels still of 35 millimeters equivalent and f / 2.4 aperture.
The Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system: the Material Design has a more minimalist and pleasant to use interface. The apps are shown in the form of tabs, notifications can be managed directly from the lock screen and, by the way, the Smart Lock function allows you to loosen the meshes of the protection in the safest situations – within the range of the Wi-Fi at home or in that of the Bluetooth of the smartwatch or car you can decide to disable the password.
Available immediately in Wi-Fi version, costs 399 euros in the 16GB version and 489 in the 32GB version. At the end of the month the 32GB Wi-Fi / LTE version will also arrive, at 569 euros.
