SAP Business One Forum 2016: digital transformation is the engine of SMEs

On May 4th at the Monza race track the SAP Business One Forum is back: the recent evolution of the management solution for SMEs

Adriano Ceccherini SAP Business One ForumAfter the success of the first edition, which saw over 400 participants, the SAP Business One Forum is back, an event dedicated to the world of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) whose theme this year is dedicated to the opportunities that Digital Transformation offers to SMEs, with a particular attention towards real models of Live Business, ie examples of companies that use systems and solutions in the moment to perfectly orchestrate decision-making processes, operations, supply chains, sales, products and partners in order to satisfy the customer's needs at the exact moment in which opportunities are created. The 2016 edition of the SAP Business One Forum will also be held at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza on May 4th.The event calendar will open with a plenary session in which they will participate Adriano Ceccherini, General Business Director of SAP Italia and Luis Murguia, Global Head of SAP Business One, which will present the SAP vision for simplification starting from the digital management of the core activities of the company based on SAP Business One, a management solution developed for SMEs that allows to integrate company processes into a single system, to sustainably grow its business and to reach the effects of the new Live Business scenario. The focus of the morning plenary will also be the analysis of some Italian success stories; among the companies that have confirmed their participation in the morning plenary session, Spina Group, Ecolan and Service Trade. Finally, there will be seventeen parallel sessions, dedicated to different strands divided by reference market (production, consumer goods, services, etc.) and applications of technology, such as the Internet of Things, and business area (administration and control, marketing and sales, human resources, purchases).

In an increasingly digitalized environment, companies, and especially SMEs, must respond quickly to market demands in order to be increasingly competitive and not to miss important business opportunities; it is therefore essential to provide customers with flexible and intelligent solutions that simplify business processes, has explained Adriano Ceccherini, General Business Director of SAP Italia. In Italy too, customers are increasingly asking us to accompany them in the digitalization process, going beyond the concept of real time to reach the new world of live business where it is possible not only to control the past, but to predict the future by linking company functions, people and partners in a single fully digital integrated system, able to anticipate, simulate and identify new business opportunities.
